Notice whether you feel a pull toward sharing the idea and then a counter-pull that finds a reason to wait. The waiting reasons are usually practical: not quite ready, the timing isn’t right, you want to develop it further first. Those reasons are often genuine and sometimes accurate. But they can also be the same reason cycling in a loop, and the loop itself is information about how much this one matters to you.

Also notice who comes to mind when you imagine showing it to someone. That person is probably the right one. The thought of showing them isn’t accidental.
