And then there’s this one situation, or this one person, where the principle keeps getting quietly set aside. It started as a reasonable exception. Then you made it again. Now you’ve made it enough times that the exception is how things actually work here, and the principle you keep citing applies everywhere except where you most need it.

Aquarius has a particular version of this.
