Notice if you are holding information that belongs in a shared conversation. Not everything does. But some of what you are carrying quietly right now is not really yours to carry alone. It is a shared problem that only you know the shape of.

Notice also whether the softened version of your story is starting to feel like a trap. You cannot course-correct from a situation that, officially, is fine.
