Not someone who should be praising you, but someone whose picture of the work is incomplete in a way that actually matters. Making that picture more accurate is a practical move, not a self-promotional one.

Notice whether what you feel about the credit situation is primarily frustration at a specific person or primarily a more general sense of not being seen. Those feelings point in different directions. The first has a potential action, a conversation, a record correction. The second is pointing at something about visibility more broadly, which is worth sitting with rather than trying to fix through a single interaction.
