The theme that day: What you learn when you stop explaining
The theme of the day
You have a tendency to explain your thinking as you go. Not because you need validation exactly, but because articulating a plan out loud helps you think it through, and you genuinely enjoy the conversation that follows. This is one of your strengths. It has also, in certain recent situations, been costing you something that is harder to name: the clarity that only comes from staying quiet about a plan long enough to actually find out whether it works.
When you explain a direction before you have tested it, you become partly accountable to the explanation. If you then change course (which you often need to do, because Sagittarius is a sign of course-correction), there is a small overhead of updating everyone who heard the original version. That overhead can, over time, start to make you less willing to course-correct, because each pivot requires re-narrating. The end result is a subtle rigidity in a sign that is fundamentally built for flexibility.
Today, there may be something you are about to explain: a new direction, a decision you are considering, a plan that is still forming. The wiser move might be to let it stay interior for a little longer. Not forever. Just long enough to know what it actually is before it has an audience.
There is also a version of this around feedback. When you explain your thinking in advance, you sometimes get feedback on the explanation rather than on the thing itself. Staying quiet about a project until it is concrete enough to show tends to produce more useful responses.
The money lens
In work and finances, this plays out most clearly in conversations with clients or collaborators about next steps. If you announce a direction and then change it, even for good reasons, it erodes confidence in a way that the result alone would not. The plan that works speaks for itself. The plan you described in three stages and then modified twice has a different reception even if the final outcome is the same.
Notice today whether there is a conversation you are about to have where the right move is actually to wait until you have more information, and to let the plan develop quietly before it goes public.
What to notice today
There may be a moment where you feel the pull to share what you are thinking about: a new idea, a change of direction. The sharing feels like it would help you think it through. Notice whether you are actually unclear about the idea, or whether you are already clear and just want to talk about it. Those are different situations and call for different responses.
Also worth observing: how often, this week, your plans shifted after you had already explained them to someone else.
A grounding line
Before talking about what you are planning to do, ask whether sitting with it for one more day would let you go into the conversation with more clarity than you currently have.
