A reading for energy questions
Energy Pick-a-Card Readings
You are carrying more today than you have consciously accounted for. Everyone is. These three spreads are a way of doing the inventory — of noticing what is actually present in you right now, before it gets narrated into something tidier than it is.

The inventory nobody takes
By the time most of us get around to asking how we are, we have already answered. Fine. Busy. Tired but okay. The answer arrives so fast it is clearly not the result of looking. It's a reflex, and reflexes are how we get through a Tuesday without stopping. The cost is that the actual state, the one your shoulders and your jaw and your sleep all know about, never gets read into the record.
An energy draw is a way of interrupting the reflex. Not because the card knows something you don't, but because a strange image in front of you buys about ninety seconds where the automatic answer isn't available. In those ninety seconds, something truer sometimes gets a word in.
Read the card as a description, not a diagnosis
This is important and it is a boundary, not a disclaimer: these pages are for reflection and entertainment. They are not a health assessment, and nothing here should be used in place of speaking to a professional about how you are feeling. If what surfaces when you sit quietly is heavier than a card can hold, that is worth telling an actual person.
Inside that boundary, though, the practice is simple. Draw one card. Ask what quality of attention it describes: restless, held, waiting, done. Then check whether that word fits the thing you have been calling "fine." Sometimes it won't fit at all, and the mismatch is its own information. Sometimes it will fit uncomfortably well, and you will know immediately, which is the whole point.

Twenty-two registers of inner weather. The Star is not the same tiredness as The Hanged Man. The Chariot is not the same alertness as The Magician. Find the one you drew, or browse until one of them describes the week you have actually been having.
