The Abundance Arcana Your Birth Card reading Birth Card

You asked:

Is someone thinking of me right now?

The longing underneath this question is real and it deserves an honest hearing. Before you pull, notice what you are hoping the card will confirm; that hope is the thing actually worth sitting with. A card cannot report on another person's mind. What it can do is show you the shape of your own wondering, which is the part of this that is genuinely yours to work with.

The question underneath the question

You are not really asking about their brain activity. You are asking whether the attention you have been spending is being spent back. That's a different question, and a fairer one, and it has the advantage of being answerable — not by a card, but by you, if you're willing to count honestly.

So count. Over the last two weeks, who reached first? Who let a message sit and who checked the timestamp? If you find yourself building a case for why their silence is meaningful, notice that you are doing the work of two people. That noticing is worth more than any answer a deck could hand you.

Before you draw

Put your phone face down. Not as a ritual, but as a practical measure, because this particular question tends to be asked with one eye on a notification bar, and a divided mind reads a card badly.

Then ask yourself what you would do tomorrow if the answer were yes, and what you would do tomorrow if the answer were no. If the two answers are identical, you already have the information you came for, and the draw becomes something gentler: a way of keeping yourself company inside a wait.

Reading whatever comes up

Whatever card surfaces, resist the urge to translate it into a yes or a no. This deck does not deal in yes and no, and a card bent into a verdict stops being able to tell you anything else. The High Priestess is not a yes. The Moon is not a no. They are moods, and moods are what you actually have available to work with tonight.

Ask instead: what does this image say about how I have been waiting? Patiently, or with a low hum of anxiety that has started to feel normal? Generously, or with a ledger open? However you answer, be kind about it. Waiting for someone is one of the more human things a person can do, and it says nothing bad about you at all.
